About Me
My name is Elizabeth. I was born in Flint, Michigan and grew up in Grand Blanc. I’ve got a small family, just a few cousins on both sides and one older brother. I’ve got three pets, a dog named Daisy Mae and two cats, Mr. Doodles and Zuko. In my free time I like to watch Avatar the Last Airbender, read books, listen to music, golf, play video games and spend time with my friends. I currently stay with my boyfriend, Grant, in his apartment on the west side of downtown Grand Rapids. We’ve been dating for two years and he’s my best friend and partner in crime!
My Education
In 2012 I packed up and moved from Grand Blanc to Grand Rapids to attend Grand Valley State University. I spent 5 years earning my bachelor of arts in English and Education with a minor certification in Elementary Ed. I taught in a public school setting for nearly 6 years before I decided to move on to a new career path. I consider myself a lifelong learner and have a high value for quality education. I still consider myself a teacher and I virtually tutor elementary aged students in reading and math.

I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially on the water! My family has had properties on Indian River in northern Michigan since before I was born. I took boater’s safety when I was 14 and have been taking out the Boston Whaler ever since! If I’m not on the water, I’m usually out on a golf course. My child hood home is on the 2nd hole of a public golf course in Grand Blanc, but I love to get out and play other courses too! While I’m out in nature, I’m usually snapping a few photos and calling myself a photographer.

I grew up watching this show air on Nickelodeon and have rewatched it more than 50 times. Above is the final battle scene between the main character, Aang, and the antagonist, Firelord Ozai.
